Carolina Cotton Company stands behind our products 100%. Please inspect the contents of your package as soon as you receive it to ensure that you have plenty of time to take advantage of our 14-day money-back guarantee. The 14 days start the day we ship your order. All returns must be returned to us within 14 days, or we must be notified within these 14 days if there are any other issues. We cannot issue any refunds or replacements after the 14-day guarantee has expired.

If there is a problem with your order, we may require you to send us a picture at our discretion.

Return an unaltered item within 14 days, in re-sale condition (unwashed/uncut/odorless), and we will refund the total purchase price of the item (this does not include shipping costs). We require a tracking number to keep up with the status of the package you are returning. Any returns made after 14 days or failure to send a tracking number will result in an additional 30% re-stocking fee. Please get in touch with us first to ensure that your return has been authorized.

On the rare occasion that we miss a flaw, leave out an item, or send something different from what you ordered, we will send a replacement immediately (or issue a refund if the pattern is no longer available). If you accidentally ordered the wrong thing, changed your mind, refused the package, or made a mistake, we WILL NOT refund any shipping, nor will we pay for return shipping. 

All returns will be processed as soon as the package has been received and inspected by Carolina Cotton Company. Any credit due will be applied back to your account. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been completed and processed.

For international return questions, please get in touch with us. International return shipping is non-refundable.


Exchange an item within seven days upon delivery, in re-sale condition (unwashed/uncut/odorless), and we can send an exchange. The buyer pays for any exchanges made.

If you find an item you have already purchased at a lower price, don’t expect a price adjustment. Since inventory is coming and going so fast, we do not offer price adjustments. Furthermore, refunds are not guaranteed. 

When a product is available for pre-order (items with a * before the product name), the arrival date is an estimation subject to change without notice. We cannot promise any particular ship date. However, we can guarantee that we will ship your order within 24 hours of receiving the item. By default, YOUR ORDER WILL SHIP COMPLETE! This means that any in-stock items ordered with these items will be allocated to you but will NOT ship until your entire order can ship complete. Please place a separate order for in-stock items if you need them immediately, or contact us to split your order into two shipments. There will be a 30% restocking fee on ALL canceled pre-orders. Thank you!


We prepare orders and ship them out VERY quickly! As soon as you pay, we will prepare your package for shipment. If you pay Monday through Friday before noon eastern time, the package will go out within 1-2 business days when Priority Mail is selected and within 1-3 business days when First Class Mail is selected. All orders placed after noon on Fridays or weekends will ship out the following Monday. Please add our *RUSH* item to your cart and/or upgrade your shipping option if you want to be at the front of the line. If you select in-store or curbside pickup, we will contact you when your order is ready. 

US First Class Mail usually takes 1-5 business days to arrive, while US Priority Mail usually takes about 1-3 business days. During peak holiday seasons (October-December), shipping can take an additional 1-2 business days, and USPS prices temporarily increase. Large orders may require additional time before shipping. However, these time frames for First Class and Priority Mail are NOT guaranteed. Sometimes due to weather or other unforeseen issues, packages take longer than the estimated time to arrive. Therefore, if you need your order by a specific date, please make sure you allow plenty of time for it to get to you or upgrade.

All customers receive a shipping confirmation number and tracking information once shipped. The subtotal of your order determines shipping charges after discounts are applied. Please use the information below to see approximate charges for First Class Mail and Priority Mail shipping. 

*An order totaling 2.25 yards or less will ship via USPS First Class Mail (unless the customer selects priority mail).
*An order with over 2.25 yards total/packages weighing over 1 lb will automatically ship via Priority Mail.
*Holiday Rates take effect from October-January. During these times, shipping prices increase but will go back down when the holiday is over. 
*USA Orders over $200 $100, ship for FREE

USPS First Class Mail (Varies by weight) starts at $3.95 +

USPS PRIORITY MAIL (Quilt weight cotton fabrics) starting at $8 - $22

USA USPS EXPRESS MAIL (Quilt weight cotton fabrics) 1-6 yards is $29 (Express Mail Flat Rate Envelope)



A word about customs and fees: Individual countries randomly impose these fees at any time. The buyer is responsible for any customs fees, duties, and taxes that may be incurred on your purchase. Please do not ask us to change the value or mark it as a "gift." It's against the law, and violators will be prosecuted. "Any person who knowingly submits false or misleading export information through the Shippers Export Declaration (SED) (or any successor document) shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $10,000 per violation or imprisonment for not more than five years, or both." Source: U.S. Code: Title 13: Section 305."

The above-listed rates do not apply to fleece, flannel, or bulkier fabric.

Carolina Cotton Company ships all orders to the address provided in your order details. Please be sure that the address you provided is correct. If you would like your order shipped to another address, please leave us a note at checkout.

Carolina Cotton Company is not responsible for any missing or lost packages. Once the tracking information shows that the item has been delivered to the address given by the customer, we are no longer responsible for the package. We have zero control over the post office's procedures and their employees' conduct.

If you failed to purchase insurance and the post office damaged or lost your package, it is NOT the fault of our shop. Packages with a value over $300 will have signature confirmation and must be signed for upon arrival. The cost of $3 (when shipped to the US) will be added to the above shipping charges if your order is over $200. Insurance will also be added on packages over $200 or at our discretion.

Prices are not negotiable. We strive to keep prices low for everyone. These fabrics typically retail for around $12- $17 a yard. We do not sell this fabric wholesale.

Please consider screen differences when viewing pictures and colors, and feel free to ask us any questions to help clarify. We would be more than happy to LOOK at the fabric choices you are considering and tell you how they blend in person. We may be able to send you a small swatch if you plan to purchase with us. We will also take more pictures for you! We do it ALL the time! :)

Colors and photo sizes may vary based on screen resolution and computer settings outside Carolina Cotton Company’s control. The photo may differ from the actual product due to the reproduction limitations of the photograph and limitations of viewing photos at different resolutions, hue, brightness, contrast, and other screen variations. Due to these limitations, photos may not provide a perfect match to the actual product received.

*We always cut continuously & multiple quantities will come as continuous lengths.

*We usually cut about a 1/4 inch - 1/2 inch over what was ordered. Rotary cutters are used, and we do our best to cut all fabrics straight. 

*Fabric is cut "straight" according to how the fabric is folded and started on the board by the manufacturer - which is not always symmetrical to the design. When purchasing a "directional fabric," we recommend you purchase a little extra so that you may straighten and place the design in your project exactly how you would like.

*Fat Quarters ~ We do not cut single FQs or custom cuts. We will make an exception and cut a FQ bundle if you get the entire collection. If you need a single FQ, please order a ½ yard.

Fabric problems are NOT the end of the world. In most cases, we can find a solution. Take a deep breath and calm down because we do not respond to hostility or angry messages.
